London Bridge.

I would just like to thank Fergie for putting new lyrics to the music from J-Kwon's "Tipsy" and creating the worst fucking song known to man.

Happy birthday Sara!

Sara - Age 3, originally uploaded by attentionwhore.

Today, August 11th 2006, is my cousin Sara's 18th birthday. She is a gorgeous smart girl now, but that gives me all the more reason to embarass her across the internet with polka dot outfit and plastic doll pasts. Happy birthday, Beautiful!

And for the record, if you're wondering, this is what she looks like today:

Workout.

I'm obsessed with the show Workout on Bravo.

Jackie Warner might be the most gorgeous human to have ever existed.

Cash.

Today one of the last remaining 3 items on my "things Courtney wants to do at some point to feel like an important human" was crossed off when I deposited a check for a few hundred dollars that was given to me by a large company for something I wrote.

Also, to get my gas turned back on it cost me $50 less than the amount I deposited.

So, while I did get paid for doing something I love, that money has already been given to the Kansas Gas Service so Courtney can take a warm shower at home again. I did use some of the remaining money to buy a couple Muse cds and a cherry italian soda, so not all was lost.

Now I must clean so the gas man doesn't have to work in my filth tomorrow.

Seventh Stitch

Somewhere along the way I missed the bit about one of my favorite UK DNB djs, Spor, hooking up with an indie electro guy from Seattle named Aker and doing this experimental EDM project called Seventh Stitch.

Awesome awesome awesome blippity produced goodness.

Honestly though, the real treat was finding Aker. It only took about 5 seconds of the song "Genuine Flake" streaming from his MySpace page for me to fall in love with the song. Very simple beep and beat background, and really bare spoken lyrics. "Everything that I have done I've done just for the sake of fun." "Luvem" is instrumental only and one of the best glitchy tracks I've ever heard. It's really rare that a MySpace music page that I just stumble onto turns out this amazing.
