a hundred years off

Being two weeks past, I think I can now talk about my birthday. Yes, lots of people cancelled or nershed. Yes some of them had valid reasons and I forgive them and miss them and hope to see them all soon. Yes someone got arrested. Yes I got to meet some great new people and spend some needed time with old friends that I'm not around enough. Even through the logistics and the problems, I would call it a success.

Everyone that came knows I love them and thank them, but I really need to make a special thanks to Andy, Jason and Jordan. Those boys made true hauls to entertain me for a weekend and I love them for it. I can't wait to be able to see them all again.

In other news, I'm now actively mobile. It's interesting to say the least. So far only Keaton, Bryan and Alex have been brave enough to be my passengers. Bryan taught me how to put gas on my car. Bryan, Alex and Victoria also managed to come rescue me upon the first locking of keys inside car...while it was running...at the jiffy lube...with it cold and rainy outside...after all the jiffy lube workers had gone for the day and left me stranded outside. They paid for the locksmith though, so I guess that was alright.

It was okay, because I locked my J.Crew and and Limited loot in my car. I want to have sex with my J.Crew polo. Yes.

Today, Keaton and I went to see Jersey Girl. It's no Gigli, but it's certainly no Jay and Silent Bob. It only made me cry 5 times. I wonder if Keaton noticed. By the way, his site is back up and functional again. I am once again loved.

...again...

I saw her today at the reception
A glass of wine in her hand
I knew she was gonna meet her connection
At her feet was a footloose man
You can’t always get what you want
You can’t always get what you want
You can’t always get what you want
But if you try sometimes well you might find
You get what you need
And I went down to the demonstration
To get my fair share of abuse
Singing, "we’re gonna vent our frustration
If we don’t we’re gonna blow a 50-amp fuse"
You can’t always get what you want
You can’t always get what you want
You can’t always get what you want
But if you try sometimes well you just might find
You get what you need
I went down to the chelsea drugstore
To get your prescription filled
I was standing in line with mr. jimmy
And man, did he look pretty ill
We decided that we would have a soda
My favorite flavor, cherry red
I sung my song to mr. jimmy
Yeah, and he said one word to me, and that was "dead"
I said to him
You can’t always get what you want
You can’t always get what you want
You can’t always get what you want
But if you try sometimes you just might find
You get what you need
You get what you need--yeah, oh baby
I saw her today at the reception
In her glass was a bleeding man
She was practiced at the art of deception
Well I could tell by her blood-stained hands
You can’t always get what you want
You can’t always get what you want
You can’t always get what you want
But if you try sometimes you just might find
You just might find
You get what you need
You can’t always get what you want
You can’t always get what you want
You can’t always get what you want
But if you try sometimes you just might find
You just might find
You get what you need

btw, andy and jordan are two of the coolest guys I've ever met. I <3 them.

starving artist.

I should be cleaning, yet I'm wasting another night on IRC.

I'm totally sore from working out. I move somewhere between a a small kid learning to walk and an old person who just had a hip replacement. I'm using things I never knew I had and I love it.

I got my menus from the nutritionist part of the program I'm on at the gym. I've got 4 very boring and very unaccomodating menus. If I start one menu one morning I have to stick to that same menu, all day. So basically the ones with subway and wendy's for lunch will never get used. Anyways...the menus as they go

Menu 1
Menu 2
Menu 3
Menu 4

I guess I should get back to cleaning, I'm expecting an Emily, Megan and a newly 21 Dana tomorrow and the place is still a mess.
