Busyness.

I am failing miserably at my attempts of being a content machine.

And I thought my last trip to Minneapolis was the quickest trip ever.

I left KC at 6:20 Thursday morning, flew into Chicago and arrived in Minneapolis sometime after 9. After working for the day, I finally found my way to the Mall of America where one Mr. Jory was waiting for me by the McDonald's.

That mall is fucking huge, but I was expecting some insane monstrosity. Really once you were in there it just felt like a normal mall. With roller coasters. And btw, their magnet store sucks.

Man, I love me some Jory. Everytime I see him I always consider moving to Minneapolis a little more. If he lived somewhere with a lot less snow, I might be there instantly.

We went to his wonderful condo in the sky and hung out. I also did a lot of gawking at his view and touching his DS Lite inappropriately. We took the light rail so I could go get some awesome Pizza Luce. Best pizza north of Tahlequah.

We ended up back at his place where he ambushed me with expensive glassware and genmai cha green tea. It was stupendous. Also, I've got to get an IngenuiTEA teapot.

Then I had to take my first cab ride to get back to my hotel on the otherside of the river. Poor Jory had to get up at 3:30am the next morning, and he called to check on my safe return at 11. I ended up staying up and watching Entourage since I have no HBO at home and love the show.

Now I'm exhausted and will probably spend the whole day asleep. Monday I start a part time job (nights and weekends) at a liquor store. Go me.
