Last night I let Jason drag me down to Record Bar to hear three fairly decent bands and one nazi regime. Okay, that's a little harsh, think KMFDM brought Ian Curtis back from the dead to be their lead singer, only Ian Curtis is still really dead on stage.
I did really like Aubrey and Lovers in Transit though. I might have enjoyed Blackout Gorgeous more if I wasn't expecting them to suddenly break out into a cover of "Psycho Killer" when they started every song.
Fa fa fa fa fa fa fa fa far far better!
Run run run run run run run away!
But, the thing that really stands out is a song they played in between bands. It was a song I've heard a lot. Which means very little since it was very downtempo and drum driven, so I could have just heard it out a lot, but I think I might own this song somewhere. But it was this awesome instrument chill IDM song, and I have no idea what it is. I just danced in my seat and tried to remember. Now, if I could only figure out wtf it is I would sit here and dance to it in my computer chair.
My music knowledge is feeling so lame right now :(
By the way, if anyone was keeping count 2 beers and 1.5 shots of jager and I'm drunk, and it's enough to make me feel like shit and nauseated the next morning.
