Random Courtney Fact #1

My mom wouldn't let me watch the music video for Melissa Etheridge's I'm The Only One when it came out (heehee!). One time my older cousin was over and we were in the living room watching VH1 (Tahlequah didn't have MTV at this point) and it came on. She talked to me afterwards and was all jumpy and off and "You know I don't want you watching that video!"

And the whole ordeal just seems funny to me now. I highly doubt that video was the reason I like to occasionally kiss girls (that's generally the gin-heh), especially since I don't think I ever paid attention to it. I can't recall anything from it other than that it had a bleach bypass look to it. Leave it to the dork in me to remember the processing style, but not any actual content.

But yes, Random Courtney Fact #1. My mommy tried to shield me from the evils of lesbianism when I was 11.
